Malik's statement on Match Fixing was wrong: Afridi

Pakistan's skipper Shahid Afridi said that he is still sad by the statement of Home Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Rehman Malik.

Afridi after returning home from the World Cup criticised Malik for his statement. "I think it was not the right time for Mr. malik to give such a statement. He called me three-four times, and tried to tell something, but I could not understand as I was busy with my game" said Afridi.

He further added, "I think he has done a mistake and I expect no one will do such a mistake in the future."

Afridi's this reaction was in a response to a statement of Mr. Malik where he warned the Pakistani players not to get involved in match fixing. He also said that the intelligence of the country was keeping a sharp eye on them.
